The Christian Waterfowlers Association was formed by Tim Sallee in September of 2009.  However, the idea for CWA origniated many years ago.  Tim a minister for the past 29 years and current Pastor and Founder of Christian Life Church Siloam Springs, AR. has been an avid waterfowler for the past 23 years.  Tim first brought up the idea of combining a passion for Christ with the passion for waterfowling while on a Duck hunting trip with his brother Anthony Sallee in 2005.  The idea didn't get much further than Anthony designing a sample logo or two.

After hosting a Wild Game Dinner in Sept. of 2009 Tim saw first hand the impact of bringing sportsmen together for fellowship and introducing them to Christ.  The idea for CWA resurfaced.  After much prayer and consideration he felt it was time move forward with the launching of the CWA website and forum.
