Rig'Em Right Waterfowl

Matthew Cagle is the Owner of Rig’Em Right Waterfowl and a star in the Dawn Patrol Waterfowl DVD series. He now lives in Morehead City, NC with his wife, Heather, and two daughters, Daisy and Lily. Matthew grew up hunting the creeks, rivers and open waters of Eastern North Carolina but now spends most of his season chasing ducks and geese all over the country and Canada. “Growing up in the diverse geography of North Carolina helped me develop my waterfowling skills for all types of hunting situations”, says Matthew.

“We have almost every type of waterfowling here ranging from swamps, potholes and flooded fields to diver hunting big open water".

When he’s not hunting, Matthew spends a great deal of time managing a rapidly growing business and developing new and exciting waterfowl products. In addition, Matthew is very involved with One Harbor Church, located on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina and is co-leading a men’s group called Band of Brothers. “I have wasted a great deal of my life chasing after things that bring temporary pleasure but long term disappointment. I now realize that God has our very best in mind if we will only step out in faith and follow him in EVERY area of life (Romans 12:1). My desire is to know Christ and to trust him with EVERYTHING (Philippians 3:7-11, Proverbs 3:5,6) and to boldly share what Christ has done for me despite the fact that I’ve done nothing to deserve it (Acts 4:31, Romans 5:8). I have finally learned that we don’t try hard to do good SO THAT God will love us, but we try hard BECAUSE God loves us and died for us (Ephesians 2:4-10). The God who created everything in this vast universe desires a deep, meaningful and real relationship with each and every one of us…That is truly awesome!”
